The wonderful and creative people at Pixar are offering up RenderMan software for free for non-commercial use. Although on offer for non-commercial they have suggested a case by case basis. So if you're using one of the 3D softwares RenderMan is a plug-in for, I highly recommend you go to the site and register your interest. Go Here to Register and watch the video.
I only dabble with Cinema 4D now, but I can't wait to try this plug in and use it in some old workflows, models, scenes and renders.
